Recently, we’ve seen our traffic numbers on Medium increase over two-fold.

Now, normally, that’d be a GOOD thing.

However, at the same time, we’ve seen our (already meager) revenue from Medium’s Partner Program decrease almost two-fold. We have also not earned any other tangible benefits from Medium articles, such as email sign-ups.

In other words, we and our writers are not benefiting from being on Medium. Only Medium is.

To be honest, I always thought Medium might not be a good fit for what we do. …
